Emeritus Professor Winston Ibifubara Leopold Bell-Gam
President & Chief Academic Officer
Winston Ibifubara Bell-Gam is a distinguished academic, Regional Planner, Chartered Geoscientist, Environmental Consultant, and Management Consultant with over 35 years of professional experience. He is currently an Emeritus Professor of Planning and Environment at the University of Port Harcourt.
He previously served as Head of the Department of Geography and Environmental Management and Dean, School of Graduate Studies, University of Port Harcourt, as well as Director of the University’s Consultancy, Research and Development Centre.
Emeritus Professor Bell-Gam holds a PhD in Town and Country Planning from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and an MBA from Cranfield University. His expertise spans environmental management, sustainable development, geosciences, regional planning, and environmental consultancy.
At Uptonville Institute, he brings his extensive academic, professional, and leadership experience to advancing quality education, research, innovation, and industry-oriented learning.
